THE ORDINARY | Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion
What is it ?
Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion by The Ordinary is a light water based serum with their advanced retinoid complex and a second slow release form of retinol as well.
Who is it for?
If you are looking to prevent or reverse the signs of aging including wrinkles, fine lines, pigmentation, dullness, texture etc., retinoids are the products for you. This formula is especially good for those who dislike oily textures, as the other forms of retinoids by The Ordinary tend to be based in squalane.
What are the key ingredients?
. Retinol: A slow release form of retinol, in a protective capsule system, that makes it gentle yet effective.
. Solubilized Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate: It is an advanced form of retinoids that deliver the same anti-aging benefits as retinoids, without the irritation.
How to use it ?
. Apply 2-3 drops onto completely dry skin, in the PM before heavier serums, moisturizers and oils.
. Avoid the eye area.
. In case of sensitive skin, start by using once or twice a week and slowly increase frequency, as your skin builds tolerance.
. Use sunscreen in the AM.
. May cause purging in some cases, which is normal. This will subside after 6-8 weeks. Discontinue in case of persistent irritation.
